We encourage travelling to Carriageworks outside of peak hours.
In line with NSW Government recommendations, we strongly encourage wearing a mask to Carriageworks and the Farmers Market.
If you feel unwell or display mild symptoms, or have had contact with a COVID-19 confirmed case, please stay home and take care.
As ever, Carriageworks has enhanced cleaning across the precinct. Please note: cloaking facilities will not be available.
Carriageworks Farmers Market will operate as a shop-and-go service for the community. Strict safety measures and a Visitor Code of Conduct is in place for the wellbeing of our visitors, stallholders and staff.
Carriageworks is easily accessible by train. Walk eight minutes from Redfern Station, ten minutes from Macdonaldtown Station or 15 minutes from Newtown Station.
Bus routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352 stop on City Road at Codrington Street, a five minute walk from Carriageworks.
There are bike lanes on nearby streets and bike racks within the Carriageworks precinct.
Limited on-site parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way. Enter via 229 Wilson Street. We encourage taking public transport when possible.
The loading dock roller door is located at the far side of the Carriageworks car park. Press the buzzer when you arrive.

People who hold a valid Companion Card will be issued a complimentary ticket when they support a ticketholder with a disability or frailty. To reserve tickets please call Carriageworks on +61 2 8571 9100 10am-6pm daily. You may be asked to present your Companion Card at the event. Please note: other presenting companies may not always permit companion cards.
Carriageworks is wheelchair accessible. If you need a wheelchair, please see our staff at the visitor services desk on arrival or call +61 2 8571 9099 to arrange prior to your visit.
An access ramp leading to the main entrance is located at street level at 245 Wilson Street.
Accessible parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way. Enter via 229 Wilson Street.
Taxis can enter at 229 Wilson Street for level access entry.
The closest train station with wheelchair access is Newtown Station.
Facilities and services
The Carriageworks car park includes four mobility parking spaces.
Accessible toilets are located off the public space within the main building.
Service animals are welcome throughout the precinct.
Carriageworks does not have a hearing loop.
