We visited the ALTO Olives farm in Crookwell, 4 hours South-west of Sydney. Now 75, owner Robert Armstrong decided to grow olive trees in his retirement. After mastering the growing process, he started to win local olive oil awards almost immediately. Robert is one of the original market stallholders at the Carriageworks Farmers Market and attends every Saturday year-round.
