‘I recently made a large installation for the Adelaide Biennale of Australian Art. The Clothing Store studio has been invaluable to my practice, giving me the space to produce large sculptural elements for this exhibition. The studio and adjacent communal spaces allowed me to test and arrange the components of the installation and experiment with immersive techniques.
I am currently working on a solo exhibition at Cement Fondu in which I will make a large site specific sculptural work. The studio will be crucial to expanding further ideas about space and form for this upcoming show. Having a studio at Carriageworks has been fundamental in realising and producing conceptually and materially ambitious works for large installations.’
