Carriageworks celebrates the arrival of summer with a special seasonal market on Sat 11 December. Shop for seasonal produce and foodie gifts, create your own premium Christmas hamper filled with artisan items like wine, chocolate and cheese, and pick up a fresh Christmas tree on the day.

Delicious. editor, Samantha Jones, will host an exciting line up of free talks and cooking demonstrations on the day, including a panel discussion on sustainable Christmas options for your festive menu and a live cooking demonstration by Cornersmith’s Jaimee Edwards.

The health and safety of our farmers and producers, staff and visitors is our top priority therefore we have implemented the following measures based on government advice.  

Proof of vaccination All visitors and stallholders aged 16 yrs+ are required to show proof of full vaccination status or medical exemption upon entry. Everyone must check-in on entry.  

Capacity will be limited to one person per two square metres, so there may be queues at peak periods. Please practise physical distancing at all times. There is plenty of space for socially distant queueing through the Carriageworks precinct. 

Masks are not mandatory at the market however they are recommended.  

We have enhanced cleaning across the precinct. 

Hand sanitiser is provided upon entry and throughout the market. 

If you feel in any way unwell, even with a cold or mild illness, please do not visit the market.
