Bay 17

Approx. 3hrs 30mins (incl. 2 intervals)

On the shores of the Georges River, Radha and her son Siddhartha scatter the ashes of Radha’s mother, severing their ties to Sri Lanka’s past struggles and embracing life in Australia.

A phone call from Colombo abruptly revives their past, setting the stage for a narrative that explores themes of love, political unrest, home, exile, and the complexities of family dynamics.
