Colombo Social Pop Up
Carriageworks has partnered with social enterprise Plate It Forward to see the popular eatery Colombo Social take up residence at the precinct during the Counting and Cracking season.
Embark on a culinary journey as Colombo Social serves up a 4-course, pre-theatre dining experience featuring soulful Sri Lankan food and vibrant cocktails. With recipes straight from Amma’s (Mum’s) cookbook, this dining experience is a celebration of Sri Lankan cuisine and culture.

Plate It Forward is a social enterprise in Sydney that operates restaurants and food outlets. They focus on providing opportunities for marginalized communities, such as refugees and asylum seekers, by offering training and employment in the hospitality industry.
Their aim is to create positive social change through food and community engagement.
