Get ready for the third annual Sydney Ceramics Market, returning this October with an even bigger showcase of over 120 ceramicists from across NSW and ACT in 2024. This year, the market is expanding to a larger space and extending the event to two days, giving visitors more opportunities to meet and support a diverse range of ceramic artists and makers who are pushing the boundaries of clay in all its glorious forms.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore and purchase a variety of unique ceramic pieces, from stunning sculptures to exquisite tableware, all directly from the makers. They can also enjoy live wheel-throwing demonstrations, and take home sample kits to spark their own creative journey.

Sydney Ceramics Market emerged from a desire to create a platform to celebrate the immense ingenuity and diversity in the craft of ceramics across NSW.
Friends and self-proclaimed ceramic obsessives, Melody Brunton (Ceramicist behind Emi Ceramics) and Samee Lapham (Photographer & Content Producer) met through a market themselves and shared a vision to uplift, educate and create community around the medium of clay.
Melody and Samee were inspired to create Sydney Ceramics Market to present the wide range of makers’ works they’ve fallen in love with and to encourage more people to collect pieces made by local creatives.
