Carriageworks: Covid-Safe Plan

As per NSW Health orders, Carriageworks is closed to the public until Sat 28 Aug. The Carriageworks Farmers Market will be open Saturday from 8am-1pm as a shop-and-go service. It will be operating in line with current NSW Health guidelines with one person per four square metre capacity.

Carriageworks is a registered COVID-Safe business. To ensure the wellbeing of our visitors, we are following strict guidelines set by NSW State Government and Live Performance Australia. Help us keep everyone safe by supporting our COVID-Safe plan.

If you feel unwell
Please do not visit if have experienced cold or flu like symptoms in the past 14-days, are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, or have returned from overseas or a hotspot area. Stay home and take care.

Updated capacity restrictions
As of 23 Jun 2021, Carriageworks will be operating with a 1 person per 4 square metre rule within all indoor and outdoor venues (including the Carriageworks Farmers Market). We look forward to welcoming audiences to Carriageworks and will continue to implement COVID safe measures, for the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site.

All Events at Carriageworks will adhere to the maximum permitted capacity of each venue under the COVID-19 NSW State Government guidelines applicable to the venue and current at that time. Please note capacities are subject to change.

Masks are mandatory
In line with NSW government advice, masks are mandatory within all indoor and outdoor venues (including the Carriageworks Farmers Market). Please bring your own mask.

Register at entry
All visitors are required by law to provide contact information for contact tracing. We have QR codes at entry so you can register with your phone. Please speak to a staff member if you need assistance.

Good hand hygiene
Please use hand sanitiser provided at entry and throughout the site.

Physical distancing
Please practise physical distancing at all times. Avoid congregating in public areas, queue wherever indicated and always follow instructions from staff.

Attending a performance
On arrival, download your eTicket and have it ready on your mobile phone for scanning. If you do not have access to email, our box office team will assist you, but please keep interactions to a minimum. The box office will open 30-minutes before each event.

Cloak room
The cloak room will be open during regular opening hours with strictly limited capacity.

Food and drink
Please note we are prohibited from providing water stations or disposable cups.

Cashless payments only
Please bring a credit or debit card for any onsite purchases, as we accept cashless payments only.

Travelling to Carriageworks
We encourage travelling outside of peak hours.

Enhanced daily cleaning
We have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures across the precinct. This includes regular cleaning of high-touch surfaces throughout the day. Please be mindful of high traffic areas and keep touching to a minimum.
