Roller Disco Frequently Asked Questions
Housekeeping Rules
All people participating in the event will be skating at their own risk. Waivers will need to be signed upon arrival for all participants. We recommend skaters bring and wear their own protective gear.
For the safety of everyone, please do not enter the disco floor unless you are skating or assisting a child.
Can I hire roller skates?
Limited skate hire is available for an additional $5 fee. Please contact the box office to purchase skate hire and make sure to include information regarding your shoe size (clearly stating EU or US Men’s/Women’s/Kids).
Can I hire protective gear?
Free wrist guard hire will be available during the event. We recommend you bring your own additional protective gear including knee pads, elbow pads and helmets.
What ages are the discos suitable for?
The Family All Ages Roller Disco is suitable for people 5 years and older. We recommend parents be ready to assist young children.
The Adults Only Roller Disco is suitable for people 18 years and over.
Can I use rollerblades or inlines?
We welcome rollerblading and inline skaters at the roller discos.
Use of other roller devices will not be permitted including skateboards, scooters and bikes.
Do you have skate frames?
There will be no skate frames or training aids provided at the roller discos. We will have experienced skate marshals on the floor ready to help you with skating tips. Parents are permitted on the skating floor to physically assist a child.
