For NAIDOC WEEK 2022, Uncle Wes was invited as a guest speaker at Evans High School, telling stories and officially opening the newly built Yarning Circle. The First Nations students performed a dance choreographed by Neville Williams-Boney to Emily Wurramara’s song ‘Tap Sticks’. The audience was also welcomed by an ex Solid Ground Student and emerging artist whose mural was the perfect backdrop for the Yarning Circle.
