From 18-28 February, Carriageworks will be the home of Marri Madung Butbut, the First Nations Gathering Space for Sydney WorldPride. During this period, Carriageworks will host free and ticketed queer art parties, theatre shows, First Nations drag competitions and family events that will engage the whole community. Performance Space and Performing Lines will also present two 24 hour queer performance events – Day for Night: The Pleasure Arc and 24 Hour Grumble Boogie creating an inclusive queer utopia.

12pm 18 Feb to 12pm 19 Feb
- Both events occur in the dedicated, soundproof theatres of Bay 17 & Bay 20, and all activity will be contained inside the Eastern Precinct of Carriageworks
- Capacity will not exceed 1,000 patrons at one time
- Traffic Management:
- All patrons will be strongly encouraged to arrive by public transport
- We will have 4 dedicated security guards deployed on 245 Wilson Street, 229 Wilson Street and Carriageworks Way
- All taxis and rideshare vehicles will be directed to Carriageworks Way
- 5 security guards will be stationed within the building.
- Along with Security, we will have signage reminding patrons to leave quietly.
- Alcohol service will cease 4am – 10am correct
- The Carriageworks Farmers Market will proceed as usual
