Co-commissioned by Carriageworks and Manchester International Festival, Studio Créole is a major new work and transformative multi-lingual performance-based installation. Curated by celebrated author Adam Thirlwell and Hans Ulrich Obrist with design by architect Rem Koolhaas.
Carriageworks will present Studio Créole in 2020, with seven leading authors from Chile, Croatia, Iceland, Japan, Kenya, Martinique and Palestine commissioned to write seven new short stories. Carriageworks will engage a local actor and Indigenous writer as it is the intent of the curators to evolve the work as it tours internationally to suit each location.
We are seeking an intimate group of five Donors to directly enable the presentation and an expanded public program for the Australian Premiere. For more information, contact Alyson Hewett on +61 2 8571 9062 or alyson.h@carriageworks.com.au.
