Wade Marynowsky returns to Performance Space with the world premiere of his most ambitious project to date. Performed entirely by eight custom-built automatons, Robot Opera highlights our relationship to technology in an entertaining, unsettling, and unexpected new light.

Joined by lighting and choreographic collaborators Branch Nebula, the work is set to a throbbing live electronic score composed by experimental musician Julian Knowles, featuring singing robots, ambient drones, sub bass and glitchy electronica. Marynowsky brings together robotics, light installation, and experimental sound to create an immersive participatory experience, inviting the audience to step onto the dance-floor and let the robots lead. Presented by Carriageworks and Performance Space.
