Exploring his very personal fears of performing to all kinds of audiences, acclaimed performer/choreographer Brian Lucas crafts a breathtaking dance theatre work about our collective anxieties. Take your seat in a Cabaret style setting as a Torch Singer, a War Correspondent, an Orator and a Stand-Up Comedian relate tales of torturous fear and dissatisfaction about their place in the modern world.
On a stage in the Loser Bar, these characters will share their experiences of feeling terminally stressed and the struggle to perform well, be it in the boardroom, the bedroom or in the supermarket checkout queue. Dance, movement, physical imagery, voice and sound combine in an ode to the little hero in all of us who continues the day-to-day crusade of living in society. Presented by Carriageworks and Performance Space.
