Sydney Writers’ Festival returns to Carriageworks in 2019, bringing together an international line-up to address this year’s theme, Lie to Me. Writers will examine the deceptions necessary for survival, how writing can deceive in an increasingly post-truth world, and the lies we tell ourselves and each other. Program highlights include Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah, Meg Wolitzer, George Saunders, Rachel Kushner and Andrew Sean Greer.
