Mad Pride
Mad Pride is a free, youth-led event by Weave Youth & Community Services held during Mental Health Month. Now in its 17th year, it celebrates young people’s creative expression and achievements while breaking down mental health stigma. Led by those with young people connected to Weave’s Speak Out Program, the event evolves with community needs and focuses on empowering youth voices.
This year’s theme ‘Let’s Talk About It’ includes live performances, art, kids’ games, face painting, haircuts, interactive installations, and more.
Open to all ages, Mad Pride is a drug and alcohol-free event designed to create connection and conversation.
