Set within 4 Sydney public secondary schools; the Solid Ground Artist in Residence program enables students to make new works guided by leading Indigenous artists. The program provides hands-on learning experiences across dance, performance, composition, recording and visual art.

Artist in Residence at Alexandria Park Community School, Dennis Golding’s artwork is an exploration of his identity as a Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay person, influenced by his urban Sydney surroundings and local Indigenous artists.
Evie J Willie
Artist in Residence at Evans High School, Evie J is a proud Indigenous Soul Singer/Songwriter who has been composing songs since the age of 15. Since moving to Sydney in 2009, Evie J has used her own music to express and establish herself as a strong contemporary Indigenous Female Artist.

Artists in Residence at Chifley College Dunheved Campus, Monks (Shannon Paul Smith) and Izzy (Jacob Ballard) will bring great creativity, expression and pride in culture through their workshops with their combined skills of visual art and music.
Nooky
Artist in Residence at Chifley College Bidwill Campus, Nooky (Corey Webster) is a Yuin rapper originally from Nowra, who is signed to Bad Apples Music. Nooky has also had experience with music workshops in Redfern and is also currently working for ABC Indigenous.
