Knowledge Ground is an immersive installation experience celebrating the 30th anniversary of Bangarra Dance Theatre.
Navigate a series of thematic worlds, created using unique elements from Bangarra’s productions – including set, costumes, artefacts, AV projection, language recordings and film footage. Each world explores the themes that are central to Bangarra’s work – Country, Language, kinship, social, history – and provide an opportunity for visitors to connect to the song, dance and stories that Bangarra have been sharing for the last 30 years.
Photography and filming are not permitted in Knowledge Ground.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this installation contains audio and video of people who have passed away.
Audiences are advised that Knowledge Ground: 30 years of sixty five thousand contains film footage which includes adult language and subject matter.

This is a free exhibition.
Guided tours will not be offered for this exhibition, however self-directed group visits are welcomed. We request that large groups register their attendance by emailing info@carriageworks.com.au
