Char Soo captures contemporary life in Iran in a market bazaar, a modern day melting pot of religion, culture, family and history. This four-screen video projection filmed in a four-sided Iranian bazaar aims to place the audience at its centre. Char Soo is the first large scale new-media work by Australian artist Hossein Valamanesh. Presented by Carriageworks and commissioned by Adelaide Film Festival in partnership with Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art, University of South Australia, Carriageworks, University of Western Australia through the Cultural Precinct.
