Visitor Guidelines: Carriageworks Farmers Market is open every Sat from 8am – 1pm as a shop-and-go service. The health and safety of our farmers and producers, staff and visitors is our top priority, therefore from Sat 16 Oct it will be a requirement that everyone aged 16+ visiting the market is fully vaccinated. When you visit the market, please remember to:

  • Maintain physical distancing

The weekly Carriageworks Farmers Market is a Sydney institution, providing the freshest seasonal produce from the best growers and producers from around NSW. Talk to the farmer firsthand and learn the stories behind your food. Find organic and biodynamic produce, artisan breads, boutique wines, single origin coffee, herbal teas, meat, eggs, freshly harvested honey and freshly cut flowers. Curated by acclaimed chef Mike McEnearney, the Carriageworks Farmers Market follows a strict Market Charter to ensure quality and uphold its connection to growers and producers. To become a stallholder, please complete our Stallholder Application Form.

Carriageworks is thrilled to work with Major Partner SMEG and Media Partner delicious. to deliver a program that connects communities with chefs and producers. At its heart, the collaboration showcases our passion for food.

The health and safety of our farmers and producers, staff and visitors is our top priority therefore we have implemented the following measures based on government advice.  

Proof of vaccination All visitors and stallholders aged 16 yrs+ are required to show proof of full vaccination status or medical exemption upon entry. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a vaccinated parent or guardian. For information on how to add your vaccination certificate to your Apple Wallet or Google Play click here.

Everyone must check-in on entry.  

Capacity will be limited to one person per two square metres, so there may be queues at peak periods. Please practise physical distancing at all times. There is plenty of space for socially distant queueing through the Carriageworks precinct. 

Masks are not mandatory at the market however they are recommended.  

We have enhanced cleaning across the precinct. 

Hand sanitiser is provided upon entry and throughout the market. 

All food and beverage will be takeaway only.  

If you feel in any way unwell, even with a cold or mild illness, please do not visit the market.
