PLAN YOUR VISIT: CARRIAGEWORKS NIGHT MARKET
We look forward to welcoming you to Carriageworks for our ‘WILD’ Winter Night Market curated by James Viles on Friday 19 July 5pm-10pm. Everything you need to know to ensure an enjoyable experience can be found in this guide.
There are two entry points to the Night Market. Ticket holders may enter via the main Carriageworks stairs at 245 Wilson Street or via Carriageworks Way accessed via 229 Wilson Street. All tickets will be scanned at entry.
Entry is free for children under 12; who do not require a ticket when accompanied by an adult holding a ticket.
All weather event
The Night Market is an all-weather and undercover Market. The event will proceed, rain, hail or shine.
All ticket holders received E-tickets to the Night Market at the time of purchase. Please check your email inbox.

The Night Market Box Office will be open from 3pm, located at the bottom of the stairs at 245 Wilson Street. Please note: this event is sold out. No further tickets will be released for sale.
Due to extensive roadworks in the immediate area, we strongly recommend taking public transport.
Carriageworks is an 8-minute walk from Redfern Station and 10-minute walk from Macdonaldtown Station. For more information on transport visit transportnsw.info. We also encourage people to come to the Night Market by bike. For more information, see sydneycycleways.net.
There is no parking onsite for the Night Market and extremely limited street parking in the local area for residents. If arriving by car or taxi, there are two recommended drop-off and pick-up points: the corner of Codrington and Wilson Streets (Eastern End); and corner of Wilson and Queen Streets (Western End).

We welcome all visitors to the Night Market and do everything we can to make the event as accessible as possible.
Carriageworks is wheelchair accessible. There is an access ramp at street level at 245 Wilson Street, leading to the main Night Market entrance.
The accessible drop-off and pick-up point is located on Carriageworks Way, accessed via 229 Wilson Street. (The Night Market entrance at the end of Carriageworks Way is fully accessible.) Due to construction road blocks, there are a number of detours, please view the Accessibility Access Map carefully.
Limited accessible parking is available on Carriageworks Way. These spaces cannot be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
The closest train station with wheelchair access is Newtown Station.

All ages licensed event
The Night Market is a family-friendly event. Please note patrons under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The event is fully licensed and ID must be shown on request to purchase alcohol.
Please ensure children are supervised at all times at the fire pits on the main pathway.
ATMS and Cash
Stallholders will clearly identify between cash and card facilities. There will be 4 x ATMS onsite, we strongly recommend you bring cash to avoid queuing as they can get busy.
No pass outs
There are no pass outs once you enter the Night Market.
No Cloaking facilities onsite
Water, seating and bathrooms
There will be plenty of seating, as well as accessible toilets and baby changing facilities on site. Free water refill stations will be provided throughout the site. Remember to bring your own reusable water bottles and refill as many times as you like.
We are working with Green Connect in order to significantly reduce the amount of event waste that ends up in landfill. We ask for your cooperation in using the designated bins for recyclable and compostable waste where possible.
We love dogs, but sorry, dogs are not permitted at this event
In keeping with the Night Market’s philosophy of celebration, collaboration and community, representatives from several community organisations including Two Good Co., OzHarvest, and The Country Women’s Association will feature at the Night Market.
