The dynamic changes, cascading patterns and dance-like rhythms of Beethoven’s music come into exhilarating play in Symphony.

Leading Australian guitarist Stefan Gregory re-imagines the composer’s 7th Symphony as a solo live score to accompany Legs On The Wall’s latest creation.

Directed by Patrick Nolan, the collaboration amplifies the jazz-like connection between physical performance, music and video. One can overtake the other at any moment in this intuitive and exciting celebration of Beethoven’s melodic brilliance.

Performers Matt Cornell, Dean Cross, Amy Macpherson and Rhiannon Spratling are each highlighted in the four movements, enriched by video artist Andrew Wholley’s imagery.

Created with the support of NORPA.
This production contains strobe and haze.
