A National Strategy initiated by Carriageworks to support the development of contemporary disability arts practice. Ten new Australian and international works will be commissioned and presented over five years to make a significant contribution to embedding disability arts into contemporary arts programming across Australia. The first two works in development have been supported by the NSW Government through the NSW Department of Family and Community Services and Arts NSW.
Sitting between live performance and installation, Simple Infinity by Urban Theatre Projects and commissioned by Carriageworks invites the audience into a multi-dimensional, emotive space to experience a series of interconnected choreographic and musical phrases that create and sustain an imagined world. Led by Urban Theatre Projects’ Artistic Director, Rosie Dennis, Simple Infinity illuminates the vulnerability and fragility of our personal and intimate connections with each other. Simple Infinity will be presented by Carriageworks in July 2016.
Simple Infinity is supported by the NSW Government through the NSW Department of Family and Community Services and Arts NSW.
