A new solo dance work by Australian choreographer and performer Byron Perry, Obscura delves into the processes of life and the mechanisms we use to interpret, communicate and make sense of our world. This rhythmic and hypnotic work explores how meaning can be generated, evolve and become confused through repetition, mutation and accumulation.

Set within a large-scale camera obscura, Perry’s physical exploration brings together natural light and live streams of audio from the surrounding environment to create a unique and unfamiliar performance experience. Presented by Carriageworks and Force Majeure.
