Making its Australian debut at Carriageworks, New York’s JACK Quartet has performed to global acclaim at Carnegie Hall, Lucerne Festival and the Venice Biennale.
This daring string quartet will perform two programs at Carriageworks featuring music by leading composers.
On Friday 16 August, JACK will perform an interpretation of G. F. Haas’s atmospheric String Quartet No. 3 ‘In iij. Noct’ performed in total darkness.
On Saturday 17 August, a second concert will feature works by Luigi Nono, the American Jason Eckardt, and a new work by Sydney’s own Jack Symonds.
