Carriageworks commissioned one of Australia’s foremost artists, Agatha Gothe-Snape, to collaborate with seven leaders in Sydney from the fields of the arts, film, government, and the local Redfern community. Over the course of a 2 hour conversation with Gothe-Snape each participant imagined and described the future of Carriageworks. Participants engaged with the unique site of Carriageworks − from its architecture, topography, and location − as well as the cultural significance of programming and community engagement. During each session, Gothe-Snape created a large-scale drawing, evoking a constellation of ideas and images. These drawings will become the blue-prints for the future vision of Carriageworks. They will act as reference points and aide memoirs for our future policy making, strategic planning, and programming. They will illuminate possibilities otherwise unimagined. Presented by Carriageworks.
