Carriageworks, in partnership with Smeg Australia, welcomes Adelaide chef Duncan Welgemoed for the first Masterclass of 2019. Hosted by Myffy Rigby of Good Food.

Duncan Welgemoed, head chef and owner of award winning restaurant Africola, is a chef of many flavours. Trained in French and English establishments before settling in Adelaide, Duncan has built a reputation for a unique cuisine rooted in the cultural melting-pot of a South African heritage.

In this two hour masterclass, Duncan will teach you dishes inspired by the flavours of Maghreb, executed in his distinctive, unapologetic cooking style.

Duncan’s menu will include Pipis in Fermented Chili Broth, Anchovy Braised Greens, Kohlrabi + Seaweed and Africola Cure All Tahini Sauce.
