PRODUCER – FOOD EVENTS

Carriageworks is Australia’s leading contemporary cultural precinct. Through the delivery of a contemporary multi-arts and major events program Carriageworks audiences will reach 2million per annum by 2021.  The Producer – Food Events will deliver the Carriageworks Farmers Markets and a Food Event Strategy that will establish opportunities for audiences to engage with chefs and food producers through talks, masterclasses and the integration of large scale food event experiences into the Carriageworks Artistic Program.  The Producer – Food Events will have demonstrated experience in producing a contemporary food events program, an understanding and passion for excellence in produce and food and exceptional management experience.

HEAD OF BUSINESS AND FINANCE

Carriageworks is Australia’s leading contemporary cultural precinct. Through the delivery of a contemporary multi-arts and major events program Carriageworks audiences will reach 2 million per annum by 2021. The Head of Business and Finance will manage the business and financial operations of Carriageworks including budget management, corporate governance, human resource management and the implementation of continuous improvement strategies. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive business and financial management experience.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR (P/T)

Solid Ground is an initiative of Carriageworks and Blacktown Arts Centre providing education, training and employment pathways for Indigenous Australian youth. We are seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator (P/T) to help us engage Aboriginal young people living within the Blacktown and Redfern Local Government Areas. The Community Engagement Coordinator will assist in the planning, development and implementation of the Solid Ground strategy. This position works closely with the Head of Learning and Engagement to deliver the Solid Ground initiative.

FACILITIES ASSISTANT

Through the delivery of a contemporary multi-arts and major events program Carriageworks audiences will reach 2million per annum by 2021.  Carriageworks is recognised nationally and internationally for its strong investment in commissioning and presenting contemporary work in partnership with artists and the delivery of major events that provide high quality immersive cultural experiences for our diverse audiences.

We are seeking a keen Facilities Assistant to join the Carriageworks team on a part time basis (30hrs a week).  You will have some prior experience in building and infrastructure maintenance, an eye for detail, good communication skills, flexible outlook and a commitment to high quality customer service standards.
