During School Holidays, the indoor ice rink is a cool, all-weather activity to keep the kids happy. Rug up and get on the rink – awesome fun for kids and adults of all ages.

Skating sessions are 45 minutes long.  Skate hire is included in the ticket price, or bring your own skates.  The ice rink is 16m x 7m, or 144m squared.  We expect the ice skating sessions will be very popular, recommend pre-booking tickets to avoid disappointment.

During school holidays in the daytime, it's all about the ice skating.  If you are keen to experience the whole Winterland experience - market stalls, live music, ice rink, bar and cafe - then check out the live music nights on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through July, and the specially programmed family friendly entertainment on Saturday afternoons.

CHILDREN ON THE ICE

Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult skater
Children 12 and under must be supervised at all times.  Parents and Guardians can watch from the spectator area, but please do not leave your child/ren unattended.

NON-SKATING VISITORS TO WINTERLAND

Admission to Winterland if free, so you can still enjoy the event if you are not skating. Only patrons intending to ice skate need to purchase a ticket.

ALSO ON DURING SCHOOL HOLS DAYTIME

There will be a small selection of the market stalls open during the day, and the cafe is open all day serving delicious winter food.

What if my chosen ice skating sessions is booked out?
Ice skating sessions are scheduled on the hour within the opening times.  If a session of ice skating is sold out, then there is a high chance that there are still tickets available for the session before or after. E.g. if 7pm is sold out, then try 6pm or 8pm. Same with day time skating: if 2pm is sold out, then try 3pm or 1pm.
