Venue Hire Enquiries

CarriageWorks has a season of programs and events that run all year round. We focus on contemporary arts and culture and are always on the lookout for activities that will add to the diversity of what happens here. 

In addition, where there are gaps in our schedule, we offer our spaces for hire for a wide range of corporate events, film/TV and location shoots, exhibitions, rehearsals and catered functions.

Availability of Venues
CarriageWorks opens its diary in May for the following year.  The suitability and fit with CarriageWorks’ yearly programme will be taken into consideration as well as the availability of the venues.  If you have a proposal for a performance, exhibition or installation, please complete the Venue Hire Application Form.

Venue Hire Rates
Our rental rates vary by venue and type of organisation. Rate cards for all venues are provided upon receipt of our online Venue Hire Application Form. Once we know the nature of your organisation, your event and the venue(s) you are interested in, we can provide you with the appropriate rate card. We will respond to your enquiry within three working days of receipt of the application form. A summary of our terms and conditions can be downloaded here.

Private Functions, Parties and Events
We engage with Arts Companies, Event Companies and Corporations. We do hire venues for private functions. We don’t contract directly with private individuals but are happy to provide you with the venue rates.  We would then refer you to one of our caterers or an events company depending on the size or your event.  They would then arrange your event with us on your behalf.
